While every student has the opportunity to apply for a job off campus, there are some very important steps to take before you can get approved.

Don’t worry, we made a checklist for you to keep things simple. As long as you’re able to answer YES in the following steps, you’ll be that much closer to the real world money that’s waiting on the other side.

1. Do you have previous successful experience in one or more of the following:

  • Animal Care
  • Laundry
  • School Store
  • Package Delivery
  • Burlington
  • Orangetown Highway Department
  • Yonkers Plumbing
  • Meals-on-Wheels Volunteer
  • Vocational Club Member (SPN, Summit Cookbook Fundraiser, Power Lunch Club)

2. Do You Have A Resume?

If you don’t have a cover letter yet, you may want to consider it. While it’s not necessary, it can offer you an advantage.

This only applies to students under the age of 18.

4. Have you gotten Off-Grounds Approval?
